YOU WENT TO NEW YORK CITY

OCTOBER 15-16

We went to New York’s upper east side to meet with a team of doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering. But like you said, “That was the boring part.” Indeed it was. We stayed at the Bentley Hotel. You had a great gluten-free Italian dinner with a surprise visit from your cousin, AJ. You also took your very first taxi ride. After the appointment the next morning we did what YOU came to NYC to do — load up on candy at Dylan’s Candy Bar. You rode home with your gummy bear bank full of gluten-free goodness and a pair of costume Harry Potter glasses on your face, all the while saying, “That was so much fun.”
