YOUR FIRST SMILE

I’ll always remember this moment. We were opening cards and gifts from friends, family and classmates. We opened one from a boy (to protect his identity, we’ll use his initials J.F.) and you took one look at the drawing he made for you and suddenly you had this HUGE SMILE and you blurted out, “He definitely has a crush on me.” This was the first big smile we had seen. We all laughed. You giggled. I had to snap a picture of the moment. This is that picture.
